RKW Foods specialises in the import and distribution of Polish food. Our extensive range features over 3000 products from dairy produce such as yogurts, milk and cheeses to cured meats and sausages, soft drinks and fruit juices, snacks, ready meals, herbs and spices, condiments, confectionary, flours and pulses, jams and pickles, baby foods, infant formula and many more.
The origins of the company began 15 years ago when the company first started to import products from Poland into the United Kingdom. Two years later the first weekly container supplies of food products began to arrive. Direct supplies fromproducers quickly followed in 1998, leading to the first Cash and Carry being established in 2001 featuring a warehouse of 400 m2. The year 2004 saw considerable growth demanding a new Cash and Carry of 1000 m2.
As the company continued its rapid growth over the next couple of years a logistics centre was the next logical step forward. In September 2007 the company moved into a 4000 m2 warehouse, furnished with modern refrigeration facilities. Thanks to this facility, catering for Cash and Carry as well as distribution, the quality of R K W Foods� services to its clients is second to none. The company�s own logistics centre offers convenient conditions for Polish suppliers, ensuring continuity of supplies and an ever increasing product range for the customer.
As we understand our customers needs we pay particular attention to what they want the most, from fast order picking to organisation of transport resulting in goods being despatched within 24 hours of orders being received. Sales are managed by a team of highly trained sales representatives who visit customers using the very latest mobile technology to take orders and offer support in the form of marketing materials, special promotional offers and a wealth of experience. We also take orders from customers by e-mail or fax for delivery or collection. Local deliveries are made by our own fleet of refrigerated vehicles with experienced and trained drivers, whilst those that are further afield are made by our service partner who specialises in 24 hour chilled logistics within the UK.
We also operate a trade only Cash and Carry open from Monday to Friday where all our customers are welcome to drive by take a trolley and collect what they need. Goods are displayed in a well organised warehouse so access to all areas including the cold room are available to view, choose and pick what is required.
For our customers convenience goods may be booked in advance to ensure full and complete orders. We also offer assistance in preparing starter packs for customers new to Polish food so that only optimum product lines are chosen. This ensures that shops wishing to venture into the Polish food market can attract new customers and maximise turnover and profit.
